Book Exchange

Chemeketa's Book Exchange offers a non-profit free service to Chemeketa students as an alternative to purchasing new textbooks for their classes. Operated by the Student Retention Assistants, this exchange allows students to sell textbooks they no longer need to other students who may need them at a reduced price.

Students can also sell or buy calculators and any other items required for use in their classes.

How does it work?

  1. You set the price on the textbooks you wish to sell.
  2. When your textbook is sold, you will automatically receive an email letting you know you can pick up your money.
  3. Money and unsold textbooks must be picked up by the end of the second week of the term. (All unclaimed money and items will be donated to the Lending Library.)

Because this is a free service to students, we can only take cash (exact change). Only textbooks being used the following term will be accepted. Visit the Chemeketa Bookstore's website to check if your textbooks will be used the following term.
