Parking Permits

Stop at the Public Safety Office on the northwest side of the commons area in Building 2 (on the Salem Campus) between 8:00am and 6:00pm for permit purchases, all other business open until 6:30pm. Hours may change due to office staffing, and events on campus.

Parking permit guidelines and costs

Parking Permits are required for all automobiles using Chemeketa Salem facilities Monday through Friday from 8 am to 10 pm.

Yamhill Valley Campus:

Parking permits are required for the Yamhill Valley Campus. Permits for this campus are FREE for Winter Term 2012. Please go to the front desk for information until further notice.

 

The fee for parking permits is $25 per term, or $40 for an annual permit valid for an academic year. Fees are non-refundable and permits are issued for specific vehicles.

After initial purchase of an annual permit, additional annual permits may be purchased for a reduced fee of $10 for any vehicle registered to the original annual permit purchaser. License plate frame is available as an optional purchase of $15, and require an annual permit sticker at the $40 price.

Annual and term parking permits are required to be placed on the exterior of a vehicle, either on the rear bumper or rear window so they are clearly visible and legible from the rear of the vehicle.

Visitor permits are available at the Chemeketa Salem main entrance Information Booth off Cooley Drive Northeast. Visitor permits must be placed on the dash of a vehicle so they are visible and legible. Employees and students may not use visitor permits.

Motorcycles may park without a permit in designated motorcycle parking areas, motorcyclists using a regular parking space must display a valid parking permit.
