Flagger and Flagger Train-the-Trainer (Oregon Department of Transportation Approved)

Flagger Training Program and Temporary Traffic Control For Short-Term Work Zones and Flagger Train-the-Trainer courses

• ODOT has authorized the Chemeketa Center for Business and Industry as the exclusive Administrator of Flagger curriculum, materials and Flagger Trainer and Flagger Certification Cards.
• The Center for Business & Industry provides 4 hour flagger training classes seasonally, and is the exclusive trainer of flagger instructors, with courses provided nearly every month.
• We also maintain a database of Certified Trainers for Oregon, provide information to the public about flagger training, and to resolve complaints concerning this safety training.

Customized Training has a list of public Flagger Trainers available throughout Oregon.  Be aware that all trainers are allowed to set their own schedules and costs and are required to teach the 4 hour ODOT Safety Course "by the book."
