About our Director

John Plett, Ed.D., attended High School in Visalia, California.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and Master of Science degree at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.  He received his Doctor of Education degree from Northern Arizona University.  He joined the Chemeketa McMinnville campus as our Director in 2000.

He and his wife Katherine have been married for 30 years, and have four children, Laura (27), Andrew (24), Brian (24), and David (17).  They also share a home with two dogs, one cat, and two rabbits.
