Upon successful completion the student will be adequately prepared to answer state real estate broker examination questions relating to:

• The history of agency law as it relates to the practice of real estate.
• The common law concepts of agency relating to the formation and termination of agency relationships and the parties involved in an agency relationship.
• Levels of agency representation with a detailed understanding of fiduciary duties toe agent owes the principal.
• Oregon real estate license law and agency relationships.
• The distinction between single and dual agency.
• The statutory agency duties of a real estate licensee.
• Principal broker and licensee agency relationships.
• Practical case studies in agency relationships and in the daily practice of real estate.
