Inside-Out Leadership - June 18, 12-1:15, $25

What makes a great leader? While education and experience are important, great leaders know themselves and authentically express who they are. Conscious leadership requires understanding how we get stuck in familiar but unproductive patterns; knowing how to access our energy; and focusing ourselves around our passions. Join us to look at a revolutionary leadership model that brings heart, wisdom and authenticity to any leader—and thus, to her organization.

Inspiring Greatness - July 9, 12-1:15, $25

What leaders pay attention to determines the results. Looking and listening with intention for finding greatness in others raises the bar for performance and generates energy to clear that bar with ease. This session shows you how to find the greatness in those you lead, as well as in yourself.  You’ll have the advantage of leaving with a new awareness and approach to your communication.

Unraveling Overwhelm - August 6, 12-1:15, $25

What is the cost for high-achieving women to get to the top and stay there? Far too often the answer is our health, our peace of mind, and our families. Many women are out of balance and exhausted due to demanding work and home schedules, racing from project to deadline to errand, and never arriving at completion. All of this activity fills women’s minds so full that even in quiet moments, they cannot rest. As women walk away from positions of influence, this creates a serious “brain drain” of female talent. Join us to discover practices and strategies that will help you unravel overwhelm.

Women Leading Women-A Special Introduction with author and business leader, Dede Henley - September 17, 12-1:15, $25

Dede Henley, author of The Secret of Sovereignty: Women Choosing Leadership at Work and in Life, will lead us in an inspirational look at how women leaders can gain more access to power and choice at work. Dede is a warm, lively and engaging speaker who is passionate about leadership. She will also introduce Women Leading Women, a nine-month group coaching program for women leaders in all organizations. Come experience the power of authentic leadership for women.

Courses can also be offered in the following areas. Please call 503.399.5181 for more information.

Generational Integration – Blending the Boomers, Gen X and Gen Y

Identify decision-making methods, recognize and manage group processes, choose and use tools for gathering and organizing information, and help maintain a meeting’s energy and focus. Workshop includes a CD with the course content and training tools.

Become an assertive and responsible advocate of conflict intervention and design and implement a personal plan for continued strength and renewal.

Recruiting, Retaining and Developing Successful Employees—This training mixes hands-on activities, focus group consensus, realistic options for change and review of current resources for promoting success. You will explore three critical success variables:  Space – Is your organization set up to encourage creativity and teamwork? Equipment – Are maintenance and training top priorities in your organization? Process – You ask your people for their hands, backs, hearts and minds to their jobs the best they can.

Train the Trainer — Two 4-hour sessions prepare you to share your knowledge and skills efficiently and effectively. Incorporate basic training principles and tools and present a sample “lesson.” Learn how to perform a basic needs assessment using adult learning principles, produce and teach to a lesson plan, communicate clearly and listen effectively, and manage class participation.
