Woodburn Campus GED
You may complete your High School education at Chemeketa with a GED certificate earned through the ABE/GED Program or a diploma earned through the Adult high school Diploma Program. Students under 18 years old of age have special requirements for enrolling in either program.
The ABE/GED Program assists you in preparing for the GED high school equivalency certificate by offering instruction in the five areas of the GED test: language arts, writing, social studies, science, reading, and mathematics.

Registration and Orientation
Individuals aged 18 and over may enroll in ABE/GED classes after attending an orientation and placement session. For more information about ABE/GED orientation please call 503.981.8820.
The CASAS test results indicate your placement and will assist the instructor in proceeding with your individualized plan to help you obtain your educational goals.
The orientation session will help you to understand your CASAS scores. You will also receive information about the class, schedules and expectations. You will always be getting assistance to help you identify and obtain your educational and career goals.
Class Schedule
The schedule for the ABE/GED classes:
- 9:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., Monday and Wednesday
- 5:00 p.m. to 8:25 p.m., Monday and Wednesday

Testing
Woodburn is an official GED testing center. Test are held the 3rd Friday each month by appointment.
In order to test, you must first attend a GED test Orientation. You will need to show picture ID and pay the current fee of $100. At the Test Orientation you will receive information about the testing schedule
Additional information will be given at the orientation.
If retesting is necessary, a $10 fee is charged for each test.
