Adult Basic Education and General Educational Development (GED)

Chemeketa offers Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED preparation classes to anyone who does not have a high school diploma or needs to review basic skills, and is at least 18 years old. If you are 16 or 17 please contact High School Programs at 503.399.5293.

The GED program allows you to earn a high school equivalency certificate by passing tests in academic areas.

If you would like information on taking the GED test, please call 503.399.6556. The GED testing fee is $155. The test schedule is published in the quarterly schedule of classes. It may also be obtained from the Advising and Counseling Center by calling 503.399.5120.
