GED stands for General Education Development. It is also referred to as the "General Equivalency Diploma.

How many GED exams are there?
There are five exams –
- Math
- Writing
- Reading
- Social Studies
- Science
The battery of five tests indicates equivalency to high school skill levels. Each exam requires a passing score of 410 with an overall average of 450 required to earn your GED.
How long will it take me? Each student has a different schedule depending on their skill level and how well they apply themselves. Some students take a few weeks and some take several terms.
