Project Overview

Supporting Chemeketa is an investment in the future of the Mid-Willamette Valley

pie chart

Taxpayer support allows the college to expand services to students studying in high-wage, high-demand fields such as health sciences, public safety and industrial technology. These improvements will allow Chemeketa to keep pace with workforce demands for nurses, dental hygienists, pharmacy technology, first-responder medicine (EMTs), firefighting, law enforcement, welding, networking, electronics and other professions. A new, more centrally located McMinnville campus will allow the college to expand services in Yamhill County, and rapidly deteriorating modular buildings on the Salem campus will be replaced with a new classroom building serving students in a variety of programs. Because of the successful bond levy, Chemeketa will be able to rise to the challenges presented by ever-changing economic times. Our respected and honored programs will continue to provide essential knowledge and skills to students seeking training and retraining. And, every member of our community will have access to affordable higher education.

Thank you again for your support of Chemeketa.
