Spring Term Schedule:

We are now accepting spring term applications

Applications will accepted for spring until Wednesday, April 1st.

Only complete applications will be accepted.
All applications are accepted on a first come basis.

April 6th - June 3rd
5:30-7:30 p.m.

Chemeketa Yamhill Valley Campus (Location is full as of 3/9, alternates will be accepted)
Dallas High School (Location is full as of 3/27, alternates will be accepted)
Silverton High School
Sprague High School
Stayton High School

April 7th - June 2nd
5:30-7:30 p.m.

Chemeketa Salem Campus (Location is full as of 3/23, alternates will be accepted)

Summer Schedule will be available after April 6th

All drives are scheduled outside of the classroom time, and may take an additional 2 weeks to complete

Driver Education Course Cost

Payment is accepted in the form of money order, check or Credit Card. Please call the office at 503.584.7541 to make credit card payment.

  • $205 for qualifying students with the low/no income subsidy program (please see below)
  • $280 for students under 18 (and do not turn 18 during the course) who have only a learner's permit.
  • $500 for students who are 18 (or turn 18 during the course) and have a learner's permit or any student with a driver license.

Driver Education Registration:

Class enrollment is limited and pre-registration is required. All classes must have at least 10 students to run.

  • Download and complete the Driver Education Enrollment Form
  • Include a photocopy of valid instructional permit or driver’s license (visible front side)
  • Mail all required documents: registration form, front copy of permit/license and payment to the address listed below

Low/No Income Subsidy Program:

There is a $75 State subsidy program for students that qualify for the Free and Reduced lunch program, SNAP or TANF programs. Show eligibility letter from the school district, from SNAP or from TANF. Home school students can qualify through the school district they are in.
(This benefit applies only to students under 18 years of age and without a license.)

Driver Education Orientation

Driver education parent/student orientation will be held the first hour of the first day of class; parents are required to attend this orientation for students under the age of 18.
