Clubs & Organizations

You can become involved in a wide variety of clubs while you are at Chemeketa. Clubs tend to be interest-based and can be academic, curriculum-related, activity-oriented, or special interest. Club-sponsored events include special lunches, dances, displays, trips, and arts and crafts fairs.

The Campus Clubs Resource Manual provides information on how to start or reactivate a club as well as checklists, policies, and forms for daily club operations.

  • DanceAbility Ensemble
    To offer a place for people with disabilities to express themselves through movement, and an opportunity to share this experience through performance.
  • Hip Hop Dance Club
    For students, staff, and community members to get the chance to learn and express themselves through hip hop dancing.

    To bring together students on the McMinnville campus.

    To gather together Pacific Islanders and anyone interested in the culture.
  • Student Woodburn Association
    To bring Woodburn campus students and the community together and seek cultural awareness.

    To promote and educate about fire protection.

    To promote awareness of forestry.
  • Geography
    To promote awareness of geography and to provide opportunities to explore the geography of the region.
  • Hosa-Allied Health (Health Occupation Students of America)
    To bring together students interested in the health occupations field.
  • ISA (Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society)
    To promote interest in electronics.
  • SNO (Student Nurse Organization)
    To be a professional and financial resource to student nurses.
