Papers the Movie. 3 - 5 pm & 6 - 8 pm. Bldg. 6, Auditorium. Free. Approximately 2 million undocumented children were raised in this country, educated in American schools, hold American values, know only the U.S. as home and yet risk deportation to countries they may not remember. 65,000 undocumented students graduate every year from high school and the door to their future slams shut. It is against the law to work or drive. It is difficult to attend college. There is no path to citizenship. Graham Street Productions produced this film in partnership with Film Action Oregon and association with El Grupo Juvenil.

Spring Plant Sale. 10 am - 3 pm. In front of the Bookstore between Bldgs. 1 & 2. We will have a variety of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and container gardens. All proceeds support Chemeketa's Greenhouse, which provides hands-on opportunities for horticulture students.

Haiti Relief Benefit. Performances by local musicians, singers, folk dancers and original poetry readings written by local authors. To participate call Wilma Marchbanks, student president of Chemeketa's BSU, at 971.388.6211. Free but with a suggested donation of $5. All donations go to Medical Teams International (www.medicalteams.org). Sponsored by Chemeketa Black Student Union & Multicultural Student Services. 6 - 9 pm. Bldg. 6, Auditorium.

Health Careers - High School Student and Parent Night 2010. Explore programs in Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene, EMT/Paramedic, Health Services Management, Nursing, Pharmacy Technician and Speech Language Pathology Assistant. Learn about scholarship opportunities, College Credit Now, health program partnerships and learn how to get free tuition for two years at Chemeketa. Drawing for two $500 scholarships, must be present to win. 5:30 - 8 pm. Building 6, Auditorium. For more information, contact the Health Sciences department at 503.399.5058.
