Interview Checklist

  • Before the Interview
    1. Arrive 15 minutes before the interview.
    2. Dress appropriately.
  • During the Interview
    1. Offer a firm handshake.
    2. Make and maintain appropriate eye contact.
    3. Your body language convey assurance, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm.
    4. Ask the interviewer to explain the nature of the job.
    5. Ask some pertinent questions.
    6. Show that you know something about the company.
    7. Emphasize your skills and qualifications throughout the interview.
    8. Present yourself in a positive manner, describing your strengths.
    9. Answer all questions concisely, do not provide more information than required.
    10. Say you want the job and tell them why.
    11. Ask when the hiring decision will be made.
