Tutoring

We offer free tutoring to full-time and part-time students currently enrolled in credit classes. You can access our services both face-to-face and online.

Tutoring Center Hours & Locations

Salem Campus:
Building 2, Room 210

  • Monday-Thursday, 8 am-5 pm
  • Closed Friday-Sunday

Yamhill Valley Campus:
Building 1, Room 200

  • Monday-Thursday, 8 am-6 pm
  • Closed Friday-Sunday

Woodburn Center:
Tutoring is available in the Commons area:

  • Monday-Thursday, 4-7 pm
  • Closed Friday-Sunday

Online Tutoring

Online tutoring is available free to full-time and part-time students currently enrolled in credit classes. We offer assistance in most subject areas, including:

  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Math and Statistics
  • Microsoft Office
  • Psychology
  • Science: Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Anatomy and Physiology
  • Spanish
  • Writing

How to Register for Online Tutoring:

You register for online tutoring just as you normally do for classes. In My Chemeketa, follow the prompts to add/drop classes. The only difference will be that you will need to know the CRN and will not be able to search for it. The CRN for the present term is:

  • Summer Term 2015: CRN 12724

Note: Students must register for eTutoring each term. Registrations between terms will not be finalized until the following term begins.

Accessing Online Tutoring

You may have to wait until the next business day after registering to access the service. We will send you an e-mail through your my.chemeketa.edu e-mail account that will contain your username and password. This is a process that you will need to complete each term. Log into eTutoring.
