Improve your English and experience American Culture at our special 2012 Summer Intensive English Program.
Join us at Chemeketa and learn about American language and culture this summer as you explore Oregon and improve your ESL skills. You may choose to attend the entire six weeks or just one three-week session.
Sessions Occur: July 9th through August 17th.
- Arrival for Session 1: July 6
- Session 1: July 9-July 27th
- Arrival for Session 2: July 27
- Session 2: July 30-August 17th
DEADLINES
- Application Deadline: May 11, 2012
- Prepayment deadline May 29, 2012
- Deadline for Payment in Full: June 25, 2012
ESL classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 10am - 4:30pm.
- Fridays there will be exciting field trips that allow students to learn through experience and make new friends while having fun!
During the second week of each session, there will be a three-day/2-night trip to a scenic Oregon destination. Participants must be 17 years of age to participate. Students with both B (tourist) visas, and F-1 visas (student visas, highly recommended for students wishing to continue Fall term) are eligible to participate.
Payment:
An initial, non-refundable deposit of $300 USD per 3-week session, or $600 USD for both sessions is due by May 11, 2012. Full payment of $5137.50 USD for either sessions, or $2951.25 USD for one session is due by May 31. (Cost for both sessions is $4223.75 for students continuing fall term) Students who are denied a visa will forfeit the initial deposit but will be refunded any additional fees paid. After June 25, 2012 no refunds will be given.
