The Chemeketa Scholars application period for the 2013-2014 school year has closed. We are no longer accepting applications for this year.

Read these instructions carefully -

Step 1

All applicants

  1. Complete Chemeketa's admission application
    Make sure you indicate enrollment for fall 2013. You will receive information about your Chemeketa student identification number via email after completing the admission application. Even if you have previously taken Chemeketa courses or you are enrolled in College Credit Now, you must complete the admission application. You cannot proceed with the next step until this is completed.
  2. Complete Chemeketa's placement test in reading, writing and math
    You can take the placement test after receiving your K number. We recommend you take the test soon to ensure you obtain the minimum scores required for eligibility. If needed, you can retake the test for a $15 fee. We also encourage you to review test taking tips. You will need to submit a copy of your printed scores as part of the Scholars application process. You must complete your placement test by March 1, 2013.

Step 2

High school applicants

  1. Print and complete the Chemeketa Scholars application
    Fill out and print the application. Sign the application. Do not submit it before March 4, 2013.
  2. Obtain a copy of your unofficial high school transcript
    Your transcript should verify a minimum 3.5 cumulative, unweighted grade point average and must include grades from the first semester/quarter of your final year in high school.
  3. Hand-deliver the completed Chemeketa Scholars application, your high school transcript and a copy of your placement test scores by March 8, 2013, 5 pm
    Do not submit the Chemeketa Scholars application before March 4, 2013.

Home-schooled applicants

  1. Print and complete the Chemeketa Scholars application
    Fill out and print the application. Sign the application. Do not submit it before March 4, 2013.
  2. Obtain a copy of your ACT or SAT test scores
    Your scores should verify you meet the required minimum.
  3. Obtain proof of home-school registration status through the Willamette Education Service District (WESD)
    Home School Confirmation letter
  4. Hand-deliver the completed Chemeketa Scholars application, your official SAT/ACT scores, WESD Home School Confirmation letter, and a copy of your placement test scores by March 8, 2013, 5 pm
    Do not submit the Chemeketa Scholars application before March 4, 2013.

Application packets must be received by March 8, 2013 at 5 pm. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
