Testing Services
Chemeketa Community College administers a variety of exams to students, prospective students and community members. You are required to show a valid photo ID each time you test.
Placement Testing
No appointment necessary.
*Must bring photo ID / student K Number.
- Please allow up to 3 hours for placement testing in reading, writing and math.
- Location: Salem campus Bldg. 6, Rm. 216
- Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
10am - 5pm (Last test begins at 3pm) - Tuesday
10am - 8pm (Last test begins at 6pm) - Testing at a Community Location

After opening your internet browser, go to www.act.org/compass/sample/index.html . You will be able to see sample questions for math, reading and writing.

All of our community locations offer placement testing. Availability of other exams may be limited. Please contact the specific location where you wish to test for schedule and procedures –
