The James and Marion Miller Foundation in Portland will donate $150,000 for scholarships to Chemeketa Community College if we raise $150,000 locally.

Our goal is to raise $60,000 and reach 40% participation from faculty and staff of Chemeketa. That doubles to $120,000! The Chemeketa Foundation is also appealing to community supporters to join in meeting the challenge.

Last year, 493 students applied for scholarships yet the Chemeketa Foundation could only fund 264 deserving requests. Students received $333,255 last year in scholarships. With your help, the Chemeketa Foundation can double next year’s scholarship awards!

Make a Gift Donate now! Use the attached pledge form to make your gift. There are many options from a one-time gift to a yearly pledge through payroll deduction. Complete and sign your pledge card and send it to the Chemeketa Foundation in Building 2, Room 218, Salem campus. Payroll deduction will begin in January and run through the calendar year (tax year).

In addition to the satisfaction of making students' dreams come true, you can designate your gift to benefit your favorite scholarship fund. See the list to review all current scholarships. The full amount of your contribution is tax deductible. Those who make a 2009 pledge at the $1,000 level ($84 per pay period) or above will be welcomed as members of the President's Circle.
