Scholarships

Grant Community School Scholarship Fund

Award Amount: Up to 45 credit hours for the academic year.
Available Awards:  Up to 10 awards each year.
Specific Course of Study: Must pursue an associate degree.
Required Academic Standing: Complete high school with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Enrollment Status: Full-time (minimum 12 credits).
Financial Constraints: Demonstrate financial need.
Other Criteria: Complete the Grant Community School's two-way language immersion program through the eighth grade; and demonstrate ability to express their thoughts clearly, originally and creative in both English and Spanish.
Additional Application Requirements: Member of a high school graduating class and be registered (or committed to registering) at Chemeketa Community College. Demonstrate through volunteerism their commitment to giving back to others.
Eligible Expenses: Tuition only.
Background Information: This fund was established by a gift from Larry Tokarski in partnership with Grant Community School.

All of the requirements must be met for the application to be considered. The deadline for this scholarship is April 14, 2006.
