Scholarship Workshops

Finances shouldn’t prevent anyone from enrolling in college. That’s why the Chemeketa Community College Foundation will host a couple of informational scholarship workshops during openings.

One workshop will present an overview of the scholarships available from the Chemeketa Foundation and the scholarship application process.

Another will be an essay-writing workshop presented by Roger Sauer, a Chemeketa English instructor, to assist participants in crafting essays for scholarship applications. Participants are urged to write a draft essay prior to the workshop.

The Chemeketa Foundation offers over 90 scholarships and awards over $280,000 annually.

Both workshops will be held on the Chemeketa Salem campus in Building 2, Room 212. For more information, contact Otilia Morales at oflores@chemeketa.edu or 503.399.6990.
