Scholarships for Oregon Latinos
| Award Amount: | Up to 45 credit hours and $600 bookcredit for the academic year. |

| Specific Course of Study: | Must be pursuing a baccalaureate degree in business, science, engineering, math, law, journalism, medicine, education, computer science or a nursing/EMT degree or certification. |
| Required Academic Standing: | 3.0 |

| Financial Constraints: | Preference to students with need |
| Other Criteria: | Applicants must be Hispanic/Latino and be bilingual in English/Spanish. Must be a resident in the Chemeketa Community College district for a minimum of three years. |
| Additional Application Requirements: | Most recent tax return (you or your parents), current resume, proof of US citizenship or legal residence, three letters of reference (written in the last 90 days, do not use relatives), See attachment D-checklist and agree to complete 50 hours to the community or civic organizations approved by SOL during the three-term period the scholarship is in effect. Placement test scores from CCC. Please see checklist. |

Attachment D-Checklist
- I have been a resident of the Chemeketa Community College district a minimum of three years.
- I am bilingual in Spanish and English. In addition to the application, please include the following:
- One additional letter of reference. This is three letters total. See Part IV of the application.
- Your (or your parents) recent tax return.
- Your current résumé.
- Proof of US citizenship or legal residence.
- High school and/or college transcripts.
- Copy of placement test scores from Chemeketa Community College.
All of these requirements and additions must be complete for the application to be considered.
