Gretchen S. Schuette Strength in Diversity Scholarship

Award Amount: Up to $2,000 award
Available Awards: Not open
Specific Course of Study: An Associate Degree at Chemeketa
Required Academic Standing: Recipient must attain a minimum 2.5 GPA in first term, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA throughout the remainder of the academic year.
Enrollment Status: 6 or more credit hours per term
Financial Constraints: Preference given to students with need.
Other Criteria: N/A
Additional Application Requirements: Applicant must demonstrate underrepresented minority status either in race, culture or ethnicity.
Eligible Expenses: Tuition, fees and books
Background Information: This fund was established through generous contributions from the Midland Area Community Foundation (Michigan) and The Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation (Michigan) to support the values and goals of Gretchen Schuette, Chemeketa Community College President, who retired in 2007.
