GED Testing at the Chemeketa Woodburn Center
How to get started:
You must do the following in order to make appointments to take GED exams:
- Pay $125 for GED testing at front desk.
Hours are 8am to 8pm, Monday-Friday. (Summer Hours are 8am-7pm, Monday-Thursday.) Payment must be made prior to registration. - Attend a Testing Orientation Session:
Bring proof of payment (receipt from front desk) AND proper ID
- Proper ID
- Current Government issued photo ID:
- Government Issued ID must show birth date, address, and signature
- (Example: Driver's License/Permit, DMV ID Card, military ID, or passport)
- If you are 16 or 17 years of age:
You must submit a Chemeketa Community College "Underage Student approval" form downloadable at www.chemeketa.edu/forms.
This form must be signed by:
- 1. Student
- 2. Parent or Guardian
- 3. School Administrator: If you are home schooled, the district in which you live must sign the form.
- GED Testing Orientation Schedule:
Examinees must attend a registration session before testing.
Examinees must arrive 20 minutes before the Orientation and check-in at the front desk. Orientation sessions last one hour.
- 2ND FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 1:30PM (ENGLISH)
(Expected arrival time 1:15pm) - 2ND FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 2:30PM (SPANISH)
- 2ND FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 1:30PM (ENGLISH)
You must bring photo ID and receipt of payment and consent form (if applicable) to the orientation session.
After attending a GED Testing Orientation, make appointments for each GED test:
- You must make an appointment to test at least 24 hours in advance for each test. Call 503.981.8820 or stop by the front desk.
Testing Schedule:
3rd Friday of each month (English and Spanish)
(Please inquire regarding special dates for July and August.)
You must be present 20 minutes early. Late examinees are not accepted into testing.

Retakes
- There is a $15 fee for each retest.
- Payment must be made at the time of testing.
- Only exact cash or check: payable to CCC are accepted.
No-Show fee
You must cancel a GED test within 24hr prior to the date of the test. If you fail to cancel a test, you will be charged a $15 no-show fee per test.
How to get your scores
You may access your scores at www.GED123.org using the access code you will receive at the time of testing after your first test, or you can drop by the advising office with photo ID. To ensure your privacy, scores cannot be given over the phone.
