Yamhill Valley Testing Services

Chemeketa Community College administers a variety of exams to students, prospective students and community members. You are required to show a valid photo ID each time you test.

Testing at the Yamhill Valley Campus

The most frequently administered exams include, but are not limited to the following –

  • Placement COMPASS and ASSET
  • GED tests (register at https://ged.com)
  • Proctoring Services:  online, telecourse, and make-up tests
  • Pesticide tests (go to www.metroinstitute.org or call 1.877.533.2900)
  • College Credit CLEP (call 503.316.3240 for more information or click here
  • Pearson Vue tests
  • State Board of Tax Practitioners
  • Special Accommodations Testing through Disability Services
  • NCCT tests (go to www.ncctinc.com or call 1.800.875.4404 for more information).

COMPASS Placement Testing

  • No appointment necessary.
  • Please allow up to 3 hours for placement testing in reading, writing and math.
  • Location: Yamhill Valley Campus, Bldg. 1, Room 203
  • Summer Testing Center Hours
    • Monday and Wednesday
      11 am - 5 pm (last test begins at 3 pm)
    • Tuesday
      2 pm - 6 pm (last test begins at 4 pm)
    • Thursday
      9 am - 1 pm (last test begins at 11 am)
