Welcome to College Credit Now (CCN) at Chemeketa. Signing up for a CCN course is a two–step process. All College Credit Now students must complete these steps, even if a student has already completed a non college credit now Chemeketa course.
All CCN students must be admitted through the on-line CCN admission application. By doing so, you will be coded with an appropriate program code that will allow you to register for a CCN course. Click here for online admission to CCN. If you have already completed the CCN admission application, go directly to Step 2–Registration.
Once you have completed the application, you will receive an automated email with your username and Chemeketa “K” Number (ID Number). Save this information to log into your My Chemeketa account. To sign in to My Chemeketa for the first time, you will need to click on "Forgot your password?". You will be asked to provide your first name, last name, social security or Chemeketa "K" Number, and date of birth. Once you select the ‘Get Login Information’ button, an e-mail will be sent to your e-mail account on file with a URL address and a token that is good for 24 hours so you can set your new password.
TIP! Even though it is not required, using your social security number may make it easier to retrieve information from my.chemeketa.edu if you lose your username or password. If you didn't input your SSN, please call 503.399.5239 or 503.584.7349 and identify yourself as a College Credit Now student.

Chemeketa Community College will be waiving the mandatory prerequisites for high school students who enroll in College Credit Now courses. The COMPASS Placement test waiver, signed by the authorized District agent, will be in effect for Fall 2014. This is with the understanding and agreement that the high school will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that students have met the mandatory prerequisites by completing the equivalent high school course prior to enrolling in a College Credit Now class.
You will need to request the CRN number and term code from your teacher to use when registering for a College Credit Now course. Registration and drop deadlines are listed in the registration deadlines calendar. If you are still not clear, please contact your teacher. Once you have the CRN number, log into your My Chemeketa account then follow these steps:
The cost for credit earned through CCN is $25 per student per year and students can take as many classes as are available to them at their school. This is a significantly reduced rate to the standard tuition/fees for regular CCC students (currently $96.00 per credit). The fee should be paid directly to the high school when registering for your first CCN class each year.
If a student is not able to participate due to limited resources, please contact the high school counselor/administrator to inquire about resources that may be available through the school.
