Bringing Educators Together to Share Best Practices
Educators from throughout the MWEC region are participating together in regional Professional Learning Communities (PLC). Through these groups, educators are focused on:
- Learning for all students
- Sharing of best practices
- Learning by doing
- A commitment to continuous improvement
- Results, as evidenced through technical skill assessments
Each PLC is crafted by subject matter, and led by educator-leaders in the region:
- Student Support Services: Debbie Kearns, STW coordinator at Dayton High School
- Agriculture: Tim Ray, teacher at Dallas High School
- Business: Bob Rinehardt, teacher at Cascade High School
- Applied Technology: Joe Shepard, teacher at North Marion High School
- Health, Public, and Human Services: Jeff Crapper, teacher at Kennedy High School
