AgriBusiness Management at Chemeketa Community College was created in 1979 to provide community based education for farming and family farms.  As generations have retired and new and beginning farmers have emerged the need for training has remained. AgriBusiness Management and the Agricultural Science Department at Chemeketa were winners of the 1998 AG Star Award and the 2007 Excellence in Education in Agriculture Award from the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

Since creation the College has served more than 1,000 farms in the Willamette Valley and in the neighboring Counties. Instructors are experienced in both teaching and farming. This course is ideal for all stages of running a farm business including - existing, next generation, beginning and new farmers.
