Artists have, over the course of history, developed tools to help them in the task of creating the illusion of natural vision.  This exhibit invites viewers to try the most common of these tools, as well as some of the more unusual. Practice drawing and linear perspective with a Dürer grid or a Claude glass. Walk inside a camera obscura and wait for your eyes to adjust. See examples of famous artists works using these tools as you explore a camera Lucida and how it captures the still life in front of you.
