Business Technology
Who takes BT and CA classes?
Those ready to take the next step...
The Business Technology Program offers a wide variety of flexible choices in current computer applications and business technology training. Delivered by caring qualified faculty, both credit and non-credit classes meet a wide variety of training needs.
Job Enhancement and Office Updates
Consider short courses, weekend classes, online, or distance training classes to update skills and prepare for advancement. Educators even take classes for inservice requirements.
New Technical Skills
Want ads or job descriptions often require skills in using current software such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, or Publisher, just to name a few. The job may also call for desktop publishing skills and the use of Adobe InDesign.
Personal Interest
Learn how computers work, learn to keyboard quickly and accurately, set up your home personal finance system, produce that family newsletter, or improve your writing skills. These are just a few of reasons people sign up for just one or two classes.
Associate in Applied Science, Technical Certificate Programs, or Transfer Degrees and Classes
The US Bureau of Labor statistics show that those with certificates and associate degrees earn substantially more than those with a high school diploma. The majority of our graduates take technical degrees and electives to gain relevant applicable skills for good jobs.
