Computer Information Systems
Chemeketa's Computer Information Systems program prepares students for a wide variety of career opportunities in the computer information services industry.
The program offers multiple two-year degrees –
- Associates in Applied Science in Computer Systems & Information
- Associates in Applied Science in Health Informatics - offered in partnership with the Health Services Management Program
The program also offers certificates in specialized areas of study that can be earned in combination with a degree or in a stand-alone fashion separate from the degree –
- Computer Programming
- Computer Support Specialist
- Systems Administration
- Database Developer
- Web Developer
- Network Management and Systems Security
As a student in the program, you are expected to work with a department advisor in planning term-by-term class schedules leading toward a fulfillment of all program requirements. If you plan to earn a bachelor's degree, you are responsible for learning the department requirements of the school to which you plan to transfer.
