ADA StatementChemeketa is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act ADA and section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act requirements. Specifically, Chemeketa does not discriminate against a person with a disability to have access to our program solely by nature of their disability assuming they are otherwise qualified to demonstrate an ability to benefit from services. We also provide any services dictated by the Individuals with Disabilities Educational Act (IDEA) that are deemed necessary. As a mechanism to provide access services, the college has a dedicated office of Services for Students with Disabilities, and an outside ADA compliance officer housed within our Human Resources Office to investigate non-compliance issues.
