How to Handle a Complaint
Access to the Center

The Child Care Division requires that the following information be made available to you.

If you have a complaint about the center or a teacher in the classroom:

1. First discuss the issue with the classroom teacher/person involved.

2. If you do not feel that the issue has been resolved please see the center director.

If you want to report a complaint to the Child Care Division about the center, please contact a CCD State Certifier: 1.800.556.6616.

ACCESS: As the custodial parent or guardian you may visit your child at the center during business hours, 7:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. You may also have access to your child's file that is kept at the center. If you would like to see your child's file please contact the center director.
