Education

Meet the faculty

The Education Program faculty consists of experienced professionals. Both full-time and adjunct faculty have a wide range of specialties from Bilingual and ESL instruction to Special Education.

Cathie Whyte, Ph. D. has teaching experience with students at all levels, preschool through adult. Cathie teaches courses in Learning and Development, Instructional Technology, Multicultural Education, and Foundations of Education. Mark Rediske, M.A. is the chair of the Education programs at Chemeketa. He is bilingual in Spanish and English. He previously worked as a classroom teacher and school principal. Mark teaches courses in Instructional Strategies in Math and Science, Instructional Strategies, Multicultural Education and Classroom Management.
