Teacher Education News

The Education Program and Chemeketa Community College are working closely with state-level groups to develop effective pathways for future Oregon teachers. One of the products of this collaboration is an advising website with the most up-to-date information on careers in education. Click here to download the "How to Become an Oregon Teacher" (PDF).

Chemeketa's Education Programs have also completed an articulation agreement with Western Oregon University for students who wish to transfer there to complete requirements for elementary or middle school licensure. Click here to view the most current program requirements for this transfer pathway.
