When you graduate with a degree in Fire Prevention, you will be prepared for a career with a public fire department or industrial business as a prevention specialist.
We also offer a one-year certificate to help you prepare for a promotion to a fire officer, or if you're already an officer, you can gain valuable new skills.
Chemeketa recognizes that you've worked hard to prepare for your firefighter career, and your training may have you closer to a degree than you think. Distance education courses are available for active fire service professionals, wanting to earn college credits or update their training.
