Because Health Informatics professionals work in challenging environments linking medical providers and patients with digital health records; this program provides education and training in both Health Information Management and Computer Sciences. Students learn how to understand and implement technology to digitally input, store, data mine, and analyze patient health information. Students also learn to provide the critical link in advancing the quality of healthcare while improving provider effectiveness.
