Working in the Hemodialysis Industry

A dialysis technician monitors waste from the blood of patients with kidney problems. Most technicians work at a specialized dialysis clinic or unit of a hospital.

In the state of Oregon, there are roughly 50 outpatient dialysis facilities.

Salaries vary with experience. However, national reports indicate the salary range between $25,682 - $32,413. Benefits include vacation pay, health insurance and retirement benefits.

After you complete our program, you will sit for national certification as a Certified Clinic Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT). You will also have CPR and first aid certification.
