Addiction Counselor

Program Goal

If you have a bachelor's or master's degree, and wish to work in the field of addiction treatment, you may enroll in the Addiction Counselor Certification Preparation program.

• This is a one-year certificate program that will prepare you to sit for the Oregon Level 1 Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor exam.

• Candidates for the Addiction Counselor Certification Preparation program need to contact Donna Hirt for discussion of special admission requirements.

Post-Baccalaureate Orientation:  February 24, 2009

The orientation for students interested in the Addiction Counselor Certificate will be held in Building 9, Room 109 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.  Please contact Wanda Urban at 503-399-6157 or wurban@chemeketa.edu if you have questions about the orientation / program.
