Human Services Faculty

Donna Hirt, MSW, CADC 111, LCSW

Donna Hirt joined the program in 1998.  Donna's education is in social work, and her experience is in addictions treatment, mental health, and hospice.  Her areas of special interest are multi-generational family therapy, adults with co-occurring illnesses, and death and dying.  Donna has a private clinical practice in addition to teach at Chemeketa Community College.

Yolanda Martinez PHD Education Oregon State University

Dr. Martinez joined the program in 2005 and her education is in counseling and education.  Dr. Martinez has several years experience inn agency-based direct service in the social services field, teaching at the college level and over 25 years of experience in counseling children, youth, individuals and families in the public and private sector.

Peggy Soliday, MSW (Program Chair)

Peggy Soliday joined the program in 2000,  Peggy's education is in social work and has worked in the social services field providing services to children, families and the underemployed.  Peggy has extensive experience in the field of HIV at the local and state level.  Prior to joining the faculty of Chemeketa Community College, Peggy worked within the hospice community providing direct service to terminally ill patients and their families.

Wanda Urban, MS in Counseling Psychology, CADC 111

Wanda Urban joined the program in 2000.  Wanda's education and background is in addiction treatment and counseling.  Wanda's special areas of interest are clinical supervision, chemical dependency program and policy development, and addiction pharmacology.
