The Black Freedom Struggle:
Research and History of the African American Experience

Join us as we relive African-Americans' history and their struggle to attain first class citizenship in the US. We will dream along with Dr. King and rage against the system with Malcolm X. We will look for answers to questions about racial issues that continue to plague the US to this day. Each student will have the unique opportunity to research and write on a related topic in a supportive environment. This learning community satisfies two general education requirements or a writing and history requirement for the AAOT.
