This general education learning community explores themes of personal, cultural, and community identity. It thematically links WR121 (English Composition, Exposition) and ENG 104 (Introduction to Fiction) to foster discussion of cultural myths and legends, stories of adventure, immigration, war, history and more while developing your writing skills through responses to readings and the issues they provoke. In addition to thematically linking most assignments, these courses also share some assignments
