Two degrees in Management are awarded at Chemeketa Community College:
Associate of Applied Science in Management
This program is listed under Management in the Chemeketa Community College catalog. The program is designed for students who wish to acquire skills, tools and knowledge of business in a program that can be completed in two or more years.
Associate of Science Oregon Transfer Degree in Business
This program is designed for students who want to transfer to one of Oregon's public universities. If you plan to transfer out-of-state or to a private college, you need to work with that college or university to determine what courses to take.
If you are seeking a bachelor's degree in management, we recommend you obtain an Associate of Arts in Business Administration degree. If you are not sure which degree you want, you may wish to consult with an advisor to select as many courses as you can which will apply toward both degrees. Many of the courses in the Associate of Applied Science in Management degree transfer, but they may transfer as electives rather than equivalent to the courses offered at a university.
Besides the traditional classroom setting, you can obtain part of your degree on-line. We currently offer ten management and accounting classes, as well as math and writing classes, on-line. You can also take classes part-time.
