RN to BSN Options
For Registered Nurses (RNs) wishing to pursue their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, the College has established inter-institutional agreements with the following institutions:
Oregon Health Sciences University (http://www.ohsu.edu/son) Students admitted to the associate degree program at Chemeketa are provisionally admitted to OHSU bachelor's program.
University of Wisconsin at Green Bay (http://bsn-link.wisconsin.edu) offers an online RN to BSN program that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. RN's may contact Jan V. Malchow, Manager of Student Outreach, at malchowj@uwgb.edu for assistance.
Linfield College offers an online RN-BSN degree program. RN's should contact Ann Sukalac at asukalac@linfield.edu or 503 399-5121 for information.
There are various other possibilities for RNs as well. Admission to nursing programs is competitive. As such, RNs are responsible for learning the departmental requirements of the school to which they plan to enroll. Applicants should make early contact with an advisor at the institution to learn of these requirements.
