Introduction Activity

Since we currently have 30 new full-time faculty in the '03 cohort and additional new faculty likely to join us winter and spring terms, we'll be using our WebBoard as another way to build our teaching and learning community.   You can contribute by posting  your comments, questions and reflections. To begin, let's post brief introductions about best and/or worst teaching moments.

Directions for logging on and using the WebBoard follow.

WebBoard Directions

• Use the DISCUSSION  link on the navigation bar  to access WebBoard.

• Once there, select NEW USER to create a logon and password.

• Fill in the requested information.  Red dots mark required entries.  Other information is optional.  Be sure that  USE FRAMES is marked YES.

• Complete the process by clicking CREATE.

• When you have completed the process, you will enter the WebBoard discussion area for new faculty.  If you are interested in becoming more familiar with it, read the help material by clicking on HELP on the toolbar at the top of the WebBoard screen.
