Occupational Skills Training
Enrollment Process

To facilitate a smooth enrollment process for students in the Occupational Skills Training (OST) Program and/or On-the-Job Evaluation (OJE) Program, please do the following:

  2. Fax authorization for payment to:

    If you have any questions, please call 503-399-7398.
    It is helpful and more efficient for authorizations to cover entire training time.
    However, we can take authorizations for each term.
    Please send as soon as possible prior to the beginning of each term.

Please include the following information on the authorization for payment:

Enrollment in OST: Hours on site/credit enrollments - see this page
Class fees: $60 per credit; $940 for 15 credits ­ no Universal Access Fee
(Includes $20 Business Office and $20 OST processing fees)
  • Indicate if classes will be paid by insurer, financial aid, or other sources.
  • Indicate non OST courses and course credits to be taken.
    Example: Keyboarding ­ 1 credit $58 + lab fee (lab fee varies by class) + $6 Universal Access Fee

Klamath Falls, Pendleton, La Grande, Umatilla, Burns, etc.$125

Books and supplies:
Computer software:
Authorization for books and supplies should be faxed to the CCC bookstore at 503-399-4897, Attn: Margaret Byers, who will bill the agency. For computer software: Attn: Shirley Comstock
Please include the following information:
  • Student’s name and social security number
  • Dollar amount limit and who should be billed
  • Include any pertinent information for purchase limitations
Incentives to the
training site:
Normally $112 per month = $336 per term
Incentives are paid at the discretion of the vocational consultant and should be included in the OST enrollment authorization. Occupational Skills Training program staff will facilitate the payment to the site at the end of each term.
Enrollment in OJE: Will be billed after completion of OJE, so referral should indicate length of training. Please call Jackson at 503-399-7398 if OJE will be extended or decreased.
Cost:
Up to two weeks $180
From three weeks to four weeks$335
From five to thirteen weeks$500
Cost includes worker’s compensation insurance coverage
