- Students learn work skills on work sites rather than in a classroom setting.
- Training is based on a specific curriculum targeting work skills needed for employment.
- Students earn college credits.
- Financial aid is available for those who qualify. (FAFSA)
- Students statewide can enroll in OST.
When do I Contact You?
- When you have identified your goals for employment
- When you are ready to receive individual training to get you closer to your employment goals
- When you are ready to commit the time, short or long term, to learning and getting experience for your employment goals
How would OST Benefit me?
- Can assist you with being marketable for employment in 3-12 months
- Offers a flexible and individualized approach to training
- Provides you with recent work experience and current references
- Is an open-entry program in which you may start any time of the year
- Can place you in training sites developed specifically for you
- Will receive a certificate of completion from Chemeketa Community College when you complete the training
