Scholarships available!

Once again, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation will offer 50 scholarships of up to $30,000 a year to outstanding community college students transferring to four-year colleges and universities in fall 2007. I will submit the top two applications from Chemeketa students and graduates (since May 2002). Please help by alerting top students in your programs to the availability of these scholarships. The application deadline is Jan. 15, 2007. Information about the scholarships is available at www.jackkentcookefoundation.org.

- Logon to the My Chemeketa website using your own user name and password!
- The website is: my.chemeketa.edu (note no w’s are needed)
- Click on the My Chemeketa Shortcuts pull down list
- Click on Career Connect
- Click on the appropriate button for our check-in system.
- Click on “Find a Job” The top frame will show 7 jobs at a time
- Click on the job title to get more information that will be shown in the bottom frame
- Jot the job numbers down and bring to the Job Placement Desk
*You can click on “Search for Jobs” and sort by program categories or miscellaneous
