Arsenic and Old Lace
Chemeketa Community College will present the play Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring. Arsenic and Old Lace is the story of two dotty old ladies who poison lonely old men, a nephew who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt, another who is a drama critic who hates theater and a third is a serial killer.
The cast includes Robynn Hayek as Abbey Brewster, Pattie Sloan as Martha Brewster, Sam Tibbits as Teddy Brewster, Dianne Bates as Elaine Harper, Benjamin Farmer as Mortimer Brewster and Patrick Cox as Jonathan Brewster. Also in the cast are Robert Smith, Aaron Hill, John Pearson, Jake Hutchisen, Mat Bogaard, Zeb Koebel, J. Parker and Robert Rempel.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and Nov. 20-22 in the Chemeketa Auditorium, Building 6, on the Salem campus at 4000 Lancaster Drive NE. Cost: $8 general admission, $5 for students and senior citizens. Call: 503-399-5131.
