2007-2008 Season
A Thousand Cranes tells the true story of Sadako, a 12-year-old, Japanese girl who is diagnosed with "Radiation Sickness" 10 years after the bombing of Hiroshima. Both hopeful and wistful, her tale is told by 12 ensemble performers who employ puppetry, music and traditional storytelling techniques.
Rehearsals begin October 4. Rehearsals run 6 - 9 p.m., Monday - Thursday. Performance dates are November 8 - 11 and 15 - 17.
